10 Pretty Little Things: DIY Edition!
I came home to the parents house this weekend cause I was down with the sniffles, the really bad kind. Here I got a lot of homework done but also was able to organize some ideas for some future DIY projects. I've been so busy lately, I'm excited to try these!

Resolutions
So far I have...purchased a toy camera (check!), started a collection (coffee+tea mugs! check!), and dyed my hair bright bright red (check! check!) This year has started off great! What are some of your new years resolutions?
Hello 2012!
Feeling all kinds of sickly today, which is quite a bummer because school starts once again tomorrow. This quarter is bringing my earliest class yet, 6:30am every morning...kill me now. Today I tried to get the apartment picked up and meals cooked for the rest of the week so I can focus on feeling better, eating clean, and homework. As for tonight, I'm treating myself to a bubble bath later, working through a good book, and sipping on some hot tea and saltine crackers.
Added some pictures of the family's Christmas Eve mini road trip to Leavenworth, new tradition? We think so :)
Dad was there too! but poor pops got left out of the photos (I only edited a few). Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and happy new year!

Let Your Heart Be Light DIY
I am such a huge fan of this girl. She recently posted a DIY christmas lyric project I just had to try. It turned out pretty good considering I didn't have a printer (I had to trace all the letters from the computer screen).
Turned out pretty great! I'm thinking about stringing the words instead of putting them directly onto the wall. If you want to check out Katie's version or want the steps for this project look here.
