travel trailer love

I have been inspired. Now all my thoughts are filled up with buying a vintage boler travel trailer, and heading east. Thanks to this creative gal, I now am obsessed with buying my own boler and leaving all my troubles behind. I found this beauty online, I hope someday somehow she will still be on the market in another year. I. AM. IN. LOVE.

Jessica's UW Graduation Ceremony

Jessica's commencement ceremony was beautiful. A little long, thus the randomness of our pictures. But beautiful none the less! Amazing job Jessica! This one's for you.

Summertime Goals

1. Finish decorating mine and Lily's new place.
My room is pretty much done, but the bathroom and living room are driving me crazy! I've been telling myself to wait for garage sells and thrift shopping but I need to finally do it. Here is what I need: A large painting/picture to hang in the wall above our couch, more photos hung, organizer for our bathroom, a better bathmat, some kind of plant and/or center piece for our coffee table, and barstools for the kitchen. The more colorful the better!

2. Find a new farmers market.
After moving, I have yet to find one. This goal also ties into me learning to cook new things, hopefully things with more veggies and lean meats.

3. Ride my bike, for once!
My family got me a nice purple road bike for my 20th. I have yet to ride it. This is something I really want to be doing a lot more since it will be sunnier and I have access to a lot of trails up on the plateau.

4. Learn to cook five new things.
I bought my very own trader joes cookbook! This goal will be easy and fun since I love making Lily and I fun stuff for dinner.

5. Read the four books that have been sitting on my dusty bookcase.
Book #1: Speaking with Angels
Book #2: Bed
Book #3: Lord of the Flies
Book #4: Mere Christianity

6. Eat lots of watermelon.
Yum Yum Yum!

DIY party ideas!

I'm pretty excited about my upcoming diy party. Lately I've been so inspired to make things of my own to decorate mine and Lily's new apartment. Since our living room's looking kind of bare, I really wanted to think of fun things to make that could be place there. Here are some ideas I have so far...

1. Paper Roses
Paper flower tutorial: done!
My friend Lauren got me hooked on these. They are super easy to make and she showed me all the different ways you can use them. They look really cool glued to frames or mirrors. It takes 2 mintues to make and if you use different colored paper, you get a whole bouquet!
2. Friendship Bracelets

Again, super easy. Beads, string, hooks, etc. All of which you can find at Michaels or Ben Franklin.

3. Decorating Picture Frames!!

This one was done with buttons, but you can do anything, ribbon, paper flowers (wink wink), cut-out letters, etc. I'll need to go and finally purchase that hot glue gun I've been needing all week though.

I'll post more ideas soon, I want to be diverse as possible so eveyone can take something home happy.

(Been listening to this guy ALOT lately, I'll leave you to enjoy!)
